A 20 - year - old Fabrício Nobre, who had already ventured into cultural production, had a label to release and wanted people to listen to his own. So he designed an event to put friends to play, to promote his own band and to call some guys from out of town to see what was going on around here. That's how the BANANADA Festival started.
Festival Bananada is a week - long music festival held in Goiânia, Brazil. For nearly two decades, the festival has encouraged and supported independent music, showcasing local talent and bringing national and international artists to the city year on year.
Goiânia is transformed into a hub for music, art, cuisine and culture as well as playing host to skateboarding championships and some of the country's best tattoo artists.
This is year the festival will be held from 7th - 13th May. So go ahead and grab the tickets to the festival before they get sold - out.
